Bank-first infrastructure

We believe the future of commercial banking
belongs to banks.

Banks have spent decades building trusted commercial relationships. Yet many of the workflows businesses use every day have migrated to fintech platforms.

We founded Zact on a simple belief: banks should be able to deliver modern commercial experiences without surrendering ownership of the customer relationship. That's why we build integrated software that runs on the bank's rails, under the bank's brand, and strengthens the bank's position at the center of commercial banking.

01

Bank-first

Every surface carries the bank’s brand. Every dollar of interchange stays on the bank’s P&L. We don’t own the customer relationship — the bank does.

02

Solvers

We ship fewer, better-engineered tools. The roadmap answers to our bank partners’ retention and revenue goals, not a product marketer’s backlog.

03

Connect

Payments, Expenses, and Card share a ledger. Cores, ERPs, and card processors plug in. Interoperability isn’t a feature — it’s the foundation.

Our thesis

Banks have the relationships. They’ve been missing the software.

For fifteen years, commercial fintech has run the same playbook: find something a bank does clumsily, rebuild it with a better interface, and slowly disintermediate the bank from its own client.

It worked because the tools were genuinely better. It worked because banks’ procurement cycles were slower than a seed round. And it worked because no one was building software for the bank — everyone was building around it.

Zact exists because we don’t think the right answer is another challenger. The right answer is giving the bank the same modern tooling, on its own rails, under its own brand — and letting the relationship do what it was always going to do. We are not disruptors. We are infrastructure.

Leadership

A team with deep experience in banking technology.

Zact’s team brings together deep experience across card networks, payments, and commercial software. The combination matters — bank-first infrastructure is hard to build without it.
